Out of financial and adventure-oriented considerations I took a night bus from Amsterdam to Paris and I can only say it wasn’t a bad experience especially when you had a loud and funny french driver that made the trip like an 8 hours standup comedy show. Eventhough the kilo of bag on your shoulder is still not negligible, night drive allows you to spend some time reliving moments in Netherlands
